Cynthia Kollios

My creative process is initially driven by a fascination with objects, images, places, and texts. These resonate with me through various routes: family history and background, my own experiences in traveling, things I’ve read, and are transformed through my own artistic vocabulary. The journey often takes me in a different direction than I initially mapped out. Where the new path leads is a constant joy of discovery, of the object, the piece and my relationship to it.
