JOIN The Jamaica Plain Artists Association

"Being a member of a community of artists allows me to refresh my perspectives, see other artwork, and hear other ideas.  Replenished, I can then seek the solitude of my studio where I create art that is of my hands, but that is informed by the larger world."  Marnie Jain, member since 2005

"For me, JPAA has always been a great way to connect with other artists. Being able to talk about art, technique, and the business of being a practicing artist with other professionals gives me a larger sense of creative community."  Jessica Burko, member since 2003

****

"The first time I attended a JPAA meeting back in 2002, I was just getting back into the swing of making art after many years in software. Artists are full of creative energy!"  Charlie Rosenberg, member since 1998
