JPAA meeting
Meetings usually feature a guest speaker - an artist, an art professor, gallery owner, and expert in an area of importance to artists, such as Web design, frame design, photographing artwork. From time to time we will feature a known artist and teacher to conduct a group critique, such as Jamaica Plain's Robert Siegelman, instructor at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Open Studios planning meetings
Ongoing meetings to plot the course of Jamaica Plain Open Studios occur at 7 pm on the last Thursday of each month at the Footlight Club, 7A Eliot Street, Jamaica Plain. Money exists to continue hiring an Open Studios coordinator only through 2005. The meetings are addressing funding and leadership after that. For more information, jpopenstudios@earthlink.net.

Future meetings
Meetings of the Jamaica Plain Artists Association for 2005 are tentatively scheduled for January, March, May, September, November, and December Potluck Holiday party. Classes and Workshops
Art in Amsterdam
Local artists Robert Siegelman and Charles Goss, both instructors at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, will be conducting their annual Art in Amsterdam classes this year from July 4 through July 17. The program costs $2750 and includes room and breakfast. Artists and advanced art students are welcome to apply. Painting group at Footlight Club
